GK4.162 RASCAL: High-Flow Respirable Silica Cyclone

The GK4.162 RASCAL (Respirable Air Sampling Cyclone/Aluminum) is a heavy-duty, high-flow sampler designed to tackle the toughest Crystalline Silica monitoring challenges. Operating between 8.5 and 9.0 LPM, it follows the ACGIH/ISO/CEN respirable curve (PM4) while collecting 4-5 times more sample mass than traditional cyclones. This capability is essential for meeting the ultra-low detection limits required by the new OSHA Silica Standard.

The cyclone geometry ensures that despite the high velocity, the particle cut remains strictly at 4.0 µm.
